Ingrown Toenails Treatment

by | Jul 15, 2022 | Ingrown Toenail | 0 comments

It has been a little over a year having introduced the Brace N Fix system to Prohealth Podiatry.

I must admit, initially after purchasing it and having a look into the case, I was quite sceptical about the contents, and whilst the science behind it seemed quite plausible, I just could not envision its capabilities.

Fast-forward a year and I have been truly amazed. We have used it on everything in clinic from an ingrown toenail to a damaged misshapen nail that we thought needed encouragement or enticement to grow back beautifully. After a quick clean and nail reduction, the nail is prepped and ready to receive the product.

Like any treatment option, it takes two people to have a successful outcome. We as clinicians providing the application and our wonderful patients providing valuable feedback and presenting to the clinic every eight weeks to remove and reapply the solution.

The Brace N Fix system has provided patients with a solution, should they not want to go down the route of nail surgery. It also requires no downtime, homework, or pain to the patient. So ultimately delivering something to patients that far exceed their expectations.

We are now at the point of discharging our very first patient after four or five applications (applied every eight weeks). He has reported total success and in his own words he is now able to self-care for his feet and is no longer experiencing any pain. Well done to patient G. We have been extremely privileged to have had your faith in our services.
