If you find that you suffer from blisters, it is important to consider the location of the blister and what it means for you, or how it inhibits your activities.
Do they occur between your toes, at the tips of your toes, at the back of the heel, or around the ankle area? The location gives clues about your footwear choices (fit and width), foot type and compression of your socks.
What we aim to do is educate you and provide you with products that will minimise your risks of blisters occurring. We will also address whether your socks need to be changed or whether we will need to provide you with a layer of material to slip between your socks and shoes to redistribute the force and reduce friction as well as aid as a shock absorber.
At ProHealth Podiatry we are continually learning to be able to provide our patients with efficient and valuable treatment options aiding in faster recovery times.
Remember we are located on both sides of Brisbane in Red Hill and Mount Gravatt, call us on (07) 3076 7306 or email us on info@prohealthpodiatry.com.au
